The same as how no one can understand you, it's also important to bear in mind that you can't understand anyone else.
Even if someone did the same thing before, if I realized it on own power, then so what. I want to be a person who's proud of those kinds of realizations, even if they're small. Making life interesting or boring is all a matter of your way of thinking.
Even if it's a rehash or a re-rehash, I managed to finally hash it out through the course of my life. So eat it up. You can't express anything without having this spirit. This boldness is essential for a creator.
I'm not sure what kind of mentality leads to wanting to be understood but not wanting people to talk like they know you, but I kinda feel like there's something like that in the study of psychology. (statement based in the notion that any idea someone like me could think up must already exist in the world)
Ultimately, maybe this roundabout path is the fastest way.
Because people have different experiences and views, and we have only the imperfect tools that are words to express our intentions, it's impossible for you to be understood - yet acknowledging that and still wanting to be understood, as well as selfishly not wanting people to speak to you like they understand you, is the nature of humans, I've realized after 35 years.
I'm not that dramatically drunk, but my physical condition's like I've been drinking for 9 hours... (because I was drinking for 9 hours)
It's an otaku-specific phenomenon, but there are moments listening to a good song for the first time that I'm like "wha?" and rewind it.
When I played songs predicted to be mine on the Nameless Colorless Fest review stream, rather than comments like "I bet OSTER-san made this," seeing comments like "I bet OSTER-san would like this" had me like "I totally get thaaat"... Listeners who understand my own music tastes and discover songs for me are too incredible.
Put all my favorite music on subscription services, I beg of you.
It makes me go "This is what that haiku master on PreBat [Pressure Battle, a variety show] was talking about..." Just by asking how your favorite color "tastes" insteaed of "what is it," it expertly conveys to the reader that they're talking about candy.
[Screenshot of CANDY by Keienu-P] This song is apparently going on subscription services soon so I want all humanity to listen to it, the lyric "How does your favorite color taste?" is so cute...
Don't you ever suddenly have a flashback to something you learned in school???
Suddenly remembering Hamiltonian during a stream sounds like some kinda glitch, right?

They say there's no use for the Num Lock key, but I found a use for it.
It's a super useful key for turning off Num Lock.
I recently learned there was a collaboration between Kenmin Yaki Be-fun and Death Crimson. Good morning.
Stray's such a super good game...
I finished Stray in just two streams, so cat-eared Tesro-sama also ended with only two appearances.
Today's highlight. #TesrosetTransmission
["♪ I tried downloading an aimbot to be the best at this gaaame, but ended up with a malwaaare... DAMMIIIT -"]
A lot of people have streamed Stray, but I have a theory I'm the only person who calls Momo Nepal Gyoza Guy.
Conclusion: Travelmin is amazing.
I was able to play Stray to the end.......... :sniffle: :sniffle: :sniffle: :sniffle: :sniffle: :sniffle: :sniffle: :sniffle: :sniffle:
Starting.
From 9:15 until I get motion sick:
Streaming a Travelmin experiment. #TesrosetTransmission
[Stray] Kitty Game Until I Get Sick #2 [Musical Vtuber Tesro & Roset]
My stomach hurts, so give me a sec for stream. :pensive:
My limit for kitty game last time was about 2 and a half hours, so I wonder how I'll fare today?
Kitty game seems to be ahead, so I'm playing kitty game.
If it's Monster Hunter, I also kinda want to use it as a Twitch stream test.
It's a super close fight, what do I do...
After the stream the other day, I messed with kitty game briefly to explore, and sure enough, that game makes me motion sick... Want my semicircular canals to try harder...
I don't get carsick much, so I've never bought motion sickness relievers before, but you'd never think I'd be buying them for a game, right?
I've made preparations so I'll be okay even if it's kitty game. [Photo of a package of Travelmin motion sickness medicine]
Tonight's Tesroset Transmission: [Poll]
- Kitty [59.4%]
- Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreaky [40.6%]
It looks like if you aim to make money on Twitch, you'll end up only being able to stream on Twitch, so I might just do something casual...
"Make a song like this, please."
Me: "Yeppers."
"Bring the tempo down some more, please."
Me: "Yeppers."
I'm making a lot of songs lately ,so I'm pretty excited for their announcements.
[Announcement]
I wrote a new song for beatmania IIDX 30 RESIDENT, the latest entry beginning location testing today:
PIANO CONCERTO "Temple of Sin" :dagger: :shield:
Be sure you're ready!
I kinda feel like in my case, more than playing a game well, my forte is just giving amusing commentary with my gameplay, and that makes me sad. (but it's fun)
I want to try streaming on Twitch too.
People who are good at games don't just have the reflexes to control the game precisely, they also have excellent ability to think on the fly and come up with suitable strategies... Ain't their stats as humans way too high?
I wanna get good at games, but all I can do's slowly practice.
Thinking that way, it's all good if you can just make a connection with people through music, huh... I like that kind of festival feeling too, and it reminded me of the mood of early NicoNico. (old-timer talking about the past)
I was saying stuff about how if even one person guessed my song in the Colorless Nameless Fest it'd mean I lost, but I got to surprise a ton of people when the answer was announced, and a handful of people who deeply love my sound actually guessed right, so it honestly was an event where everyone won...
With me working so hard on music and Monster Hunter lately, it's wild how much it feels like the world begins and ends with me.
Despite being busy, I'm super glad I submitted a song for the Colorless Nameless Fest, especially since it motivated me quite a bit.
This month's quite a peak to overcome, but I want to get through it.
I constantly have a big pile of tasks where I'm kinda like "am I really fit for this kind of job?", but in a way, pushing through and taking care of everything I need to do one at a time gives me confidence.
When Miffy opens her mouth, does it look like Gaismagorm, I wonder?
I'm grateful for people calling me "gorgeous!" or "a treasure!" when I appear on broadcasts and such, but just between us, if you just come to a game stream or the like, you can talk to me anytime, y'know?
What with appearing on TV broadcasts and all this year, I'm really exhibiting myself considering how I've been in the past. At this point, it's no exaggeration to call me an exhibitionist.
You're saying if I buy a Steam Deck I can play Sunbreak on a portable console??(????????)???
[Screenshot of Twitter trend "JoJo," followed by news story about "ripples" from an incident of a man kicking a woman's baby stroller on the bus] I can only see this as being about a Hamon user punishing a complainer.
With illnesses or injuries that just won't get better, even more than treating them, mental care is seriously important.
I was like "my back hurting every day makes life so despairingly boring, what am I supposed to do, die?!", but well, Monster Hunter's fun, so in part I'm being kept alive by Monster Hunter.
Jiiji, baaba [gramps, granny] → Friendly
Jijii, babaa [old coot, old hag] → Abusive
Japanese is too hard.
My back pain not getting better after over 3 years of treatment seriously leaves me with the conclusion that nothing'll make it better...
But I'm relieved the quality of it was recognized...
Thinking of Colorless Nameless Fest like a Monster Hunter competition where everyone is using the weapons they've trained with for years, with me going in there with a weapon I'd never even touched before, suddenly makes it feel really scary.
I got up at a proper hour, so I thought I'd do some creative work in the morning, but my back was doing bad so I laid down, and now it's almost noon.
[Retweeting Stray glitch video] This is a bugged kitty.
10,000 views on Yummy-Yummy Girl... :folded hands:
My body feels so heavy in the morning.
I play the heck out of 3D games like Monster Hunter and Elden Ring, yet I guess it might be the unusual perspective that makes me motion sick... But due to not being able to play for long periods, maybe that keeps the archive at a more watchable length. (positive)
For now, I'm relieved that when I searched "stray motion sickness" I found a lot of comrades.
My desire to proceed in the kitty game couldn't beat motion sickness, so I want to train up my semicircular canals.
It's a perfect match.
Kitty game is funnn!!!!!! #TesrosetTransmission
Starting-ing!
I drew a picture for my stream thumbnail. That's like 11,000 points.
By the way, I have absolutely no prior information, so it'll be fully blind.

RT @owakare_sbt I'm curious just how hardcore a Monster Hunter player OSTER-san is.

["I finished a song."]
Aiming to be an artist who you won't think died even if I start trending.
My personal feeling for the ages is that Yummy-Yummy Girl is around 18, and Scandal Makers is around 28.
I was told "Yummy-Yummy Girl's lyrics sound mature, so it seemed like OSTER-san," but Yummy-Yummy Girl's more of a song about a girl than a woman, y'know?!
As ever, stan yourself, and give yourself fanservice.
To enrich your days, get someone to stan.
To enrich your life, be your own stan.
Currently, because of the Colorless Nameless Fest, everyone's telling me (I think) "How great that you can make such different songs!", so I'm getting carried away.
People getting carried away might make others around them irritated at times, but I feel like people are at their most mentally healthy when they're getting carried away, so I want to endeavor to get deftly carried away.
I like my songs, but the fact I'm not able to listen to them for the first time is inconvenient, so I'm envious of everyone getting to hear OSTER songs for the first time!
People say I make songs fast, but it's just that if I don't make them fast I'll get too familiar with hearing them and won't be able to tell what's good, so I have to finish them quickly before that happens.
Yummy-yummy girl  Yummy girl  Yummy girl  :love hotel:  :love hotel:  :love hotel:  :love hotel:
You're bad at living, but good at composing, so I'll forgive you...
[Screenshot of Yummy-Yummy Girl's video stats, now with a best ranking of 9th place] And it was around 160th in the rankings before... (I'm glad lots of people are listening to it)
On my stream yesterday, someone expressed the opinion that because part of the fun for some was guessing the producer, it might have been fun to have some kind of form exclusively for producer guessing, and I was like "that's true," so I'm sharing it. #ColorlessNamelessFest
Someone gave an analysis that Vocaloid Collection has had a lot of songs that chase Vocaloid-ness and going viral, while Colorless Nameless Fest had lots of liberated songs conscious of what defines that author's style, and I'm LOLing at how the song I did was the exact opposite.
It feels too good to betray everyone's expecations, so I'm gonna have to expand my styles.
I really like the comment someone left before the authors were revealed of "it's a woman's song." I make woman's songs. Thanks in advance.
This event had the sort of fun of taking part in a costume party. I'm still baskin' in the afterglow...
Please offer your support to Superbly-Dressed Lady as well.
RT @_yunonno_a The change in impressions of OSTER-san - Vocaloid producer, amusin' lady on Twitter, video creator knowledgeable about math and space, furry-loving artist who can sing, Vtuber, gamer dedicated to parries - is absurd.
I forgot how to use NEUTRINO..........
Colorless Nameless Fest is over, and now Zundamon NEUTRINO is here. Amazing how music just won't let me go.
This is my first attempt at a genre that's not my main focus, so just getting favorable views on it is seriously a huge success... I'm glad I took part...
A summary of my thoughts having taken part in this project.
["...Don't go making such good songs."
"It vexes me..."]
In other words, ultimately, it's like that.
2007 OSTER song: "Dye everything up to my fingertips your color"
2022 OSTER song: "Suck it all down to the marrow"
Parry-Parry Girl feat. Parry in the Forgotten Land
[Retweeting Malzeno time attack video] Getting excited by how people who followed me due to this project and go to my YouTube will see this as my latest video.
But really, I'm shocked how many people there were telling me they're glad they got to hear my song, I feel like I'm a god... Just a little old middle-aged gamer like me..........
Being given additional work as a badge of honor for guessing right, a microcosm of Japanese society.
RT @crab_kanikani [Screenshot of their Marshmallow guessing Yummy-Yummy Girl being shown on stream; "a different tone than usual, but parts have an unconcealable OSTER-smell"]
And so, OSTER project Werewolf ends in a win for the hunters. Thanks for the match! :trophy: :trophy: :trophy:
I was made an honorary moderator as a reward, woohoo! (???)
RT @_Asdur_ Having Kikuo-san think I'm OSTER-san and OSTER-san think I'm Reiji Okii in the same day...
I'm all excited by the festival, so I'm talking a lot about music, but be warned that I'm just a middle-aged gamer who's good at composing.
These two are the winners in my heart... Overwhelming quality.

Congratulations on your victory. :trophy:

I'll tweet some songs that I was told sounded like mine, but I had to not tweet about since then you'd know they weren't mine.
[Retweeting a Kikuo tweet that listed Yummy-Yummy Girl and DEKIN (by Lilimelo) as "that view count isn't right," predicting both were by "famous producers"] I was glad to receive the "this view count isn't right" award from Kikuo-san. Please continue to give your support.
[Retweets two Yummy-Yummy Girl fanarts in the #ColorlessNamelessMuseum tag] In truth, it did get drawn in the Colorless Nameless Museum... Grateful... Grateful...
This is the result of making a young-person-esque song!
Thanks for the stream!
And with that, the song I submitted was this one!
Congratulations to those who guessed right! :party popper:
And thank you for making a guess either way!

Starting.
Stream might be late.
If you absolutely need to know right now, go look on the spoiler sheet on the official account.

[Chat] Colorless Nameless Fest Answer-Checking & Review [Musical Vtuber Tesro & Roset]
Have you no regrets for the Colorless Nameless Fest?
Seriously, why.
10,000 views!! Still not to 10,000 views?!?!
With such quality, why isn't it getting views?!?! What's going on?!?!
The views!! They're coming in so slooooow!!!
Hurry... get more views...
"Hah!!! You already know why, don't you?!"
"...Why???"
It sounds so pro...
Nice to Meet You-san / flower
Colorless Nameless Fest, a world where a song like this only has 3000 views.
Look forward to whether someone got it right or not.
The authors reveal is today, so I'm aiming to stream at a good time after 8 PM. I'm still accepting Marshmallows, so by all means.
Perhaps I haven't listened to too many songs due to not wanting to accept the fact there are lots of people good at composing...
Are there this many people who're good at composing in the world?
Listening to Colorless Nameless Fest songs predicted to be mine, I'm like "are they stronger than me?"
Given my occupation, you'd think I'd be better at rhythm games than Monster Hunter, but Monster Hunter is a rhythm game, so hey.
Maybe nothing is born of revenge, but some revenges come from being born.
Myself, I welcome people commenting on my song with predictions of who made it, and even go listen to those producers to analyze why they came to that conclusion, but some people might not like you writing that kind of thing, so I think it might make everyone happiest if you toss your predictions at me via Marshmallow.
After the reveal, let's not do anything like looking back in hindsight and going "if I had heard this, I totally would've got it."
It's only tonight
Your chance to guess me in an anonymous crowd
Has everyone chosen their answer?
Look forward to tomorrow
Look forward to it
I'm being super silly about it, but I think there'll always be the phenomenon of people who can't fit in with the majority getting immersed in their own worlds (and wanting to show it off), so I think there are probably chuunibyou in any era.
The girls next to me are just talking about husbands, kids, and Disney.
Well, that's just normal.
Meanwhile, I'm looking at the latest longsword meta and muttering:
it'a sun break - Are you crazy? That's a Bloodlust/Coalescence.
It's 1 in 3000, but the odds aren't 0, so maybe you'll happen to get it.
I want my song to be drawn for the Colorless Nameless Museum... Someone please draw it, please... (impossible)
In exchange for talent at living, I have talent for music.
You can start by understanding that longsword is turn-based.
Play for 1000 hours and you can do it too!!!!
RT @erif_min OSTER-san... Just what are you...?
She's mastering Monster Hunter.
She was mastering parries in Elden, too.
She wrote a collab song with sasakure-san.
I can't imitate those longsword moves... What are you?
Since I'm participating in an event and all, tomorrow night, I'll do a review of the Colorless Nameless Fest slash chat stream. I think I'll also read Marshmallows, so please send some with your song predictions! :folded hands:
Otakus' specialty to read too much into things is the greatest.
RT @crab_kanikani #ColorlessNamelessFest Every time I see a "sounds like OSTER" comment, I keep being like "I get it, but this piano isn't Keyscape..."
Keep doing your best searching.
It's Yukkuri Ward.
I'm starting to want Chis-A.
There are still two days left, so please search carefully. :green tea:
Just being able to hunt Afflicted monsters is pretty amazing, so you should have confidence.
Just being able to make music is pretty amazing, so everyone should have confidence. I have confidence, too.
I'm removing my Scouter and viewing songs at random.
Though without a view count, I wonder if you'd lose listeners outright, having nothing to grab onto so they aren't sure where to even start... But I also think it's a fact that that "place to grab onto" creates disparity.
RT @grief_art @fuwacina This is just my opinion, but:
- Knowing the view count before you open it
- For some reason being able to specify a thumbnail on submission
- Using loopholes in the rules
As I see it, things like these are somewhat undermining the concept of the Colorless Nameless Fest.
It's true, just being able to see the view count makes for a powerful bias, so if that were hidden too, I think they'd go up more evenly... It's really a very interesting experiment, so it'd be interesting to see it improved upon in the future.
Getting acclaim does to a point mean it's a superb work, but not getting acclaim doesn't mean your work isn't superb. That's just how overflowing with creations this world is.
If you're convinced you don't have skill because your works aren't appreciated, you should stop thinking like that right now.
It's such a game of chance like this...
It's wild how in the Colorless Nameless Fest, there's super-high-quality songs that hardly have any views buried all around, so you can't depend on view count at all. I super understand how Vegeta felt telling Nappa to take off his Scouter.
Extremely glad to find songs I like a lot from people mentioning ones they think are mine.
Maybe it's the Tigrex Longsword Ichiro series, which used a vocal synth.
RT @crab_kanikani At this point, I'm ready for anything. Whether OSTER-san wrote a song on the cutting edge of trends or used Kafu-chan or did poetry reading or it's only 6 seconds long, I won't be surprised...
Myself, I also learn my favorite strings or bass and sometimes sing them at karaoke.
People call copying a song by ear a special skill, but you guys can learn your favorite songs and sing them at karaoke, so you can totally copy by ear.
In truth, maybe I didn't post anything at all. (not that one)
Maybe it got views like normal and is on the rankings, or maybe it didn't get any attention and no one's listening to it.
For Colorless Nameless Fest, I have to not even say anything about whether I've observed anyone who got it right until the answers are revealed, but it's fun.
Though I'm grateful, since being told something sounds like one of my songs means I have a brand.
How fun (how fun)
RT @kikuo_sound [Re: "sounds like mine, sure isn't though"] I'm this.
I'm having fun with the arbitrary rule that if even a single comment points it out, I lose. Like a tower defense game where you die in one hit.
But really, finding one person's song out of 3000 songs is pretty impossible, huh.
Feels like I'm being so mean-spirited that Colorless Nameless Fest is going to make my fans hate me.
Enjoying listening to songs people are saying sounds like one of mine and going "Sure sounds like mine, huh! Sure isn't, though!"
In OSTER project Werewolf, all the roles are Hunter.
RT @crab_kanikani Colorless Nameless Fest is becoming OSTER project Werewolf.
Here's a hint: It has between 1 and 1 billion views, it uses a vocal synth, it's uploaded to NicoNico Douga, and it has the lyrics in black text on a white background. Best of luck.
It's super fun seeing opinions on my song... This is a good event.
When I lined up the curry, my cat kept getting up there and made taking a picture hard.
Today's spoils.
This event will end with no one arriving at my song, I'm certain of it.
Has everyone found OSTER-san's song yet?????? Tell me if you find it, okay????
[Re: Colorless Nameless Fest] It's begun! My regards. :folded hands:
I'll continue to do my best to subvert your expectations.
I'm a contrarian creator, so I look forward to subverting listeners' expectations in both Final Fantasy remixes and the Colorless Nameless Fest.

[Retweeting Song of Super Chat] Singer-songwriter.
Writing a script for commentary is lyrics, and reading it out is singing, and I do retakes over and over until it sounds the way I want and string together the best ones, so I truly am a singer-songwriter. (?)
The work of writing a commentary script is also "lyrics" in a sense...
RT @catuelystype000 Why is OSTER-san able to do such talkative and rich commentary...
That she also created innocent revolver and Oort Cloud just makes her the strongest.
[Re: Colorless Nameless Fest] At last, this begins tomorrow. I've taken part. By all means, find me.
I'm being targeted by a Hamon attack?!
RT @toarubokarop OSTER-san is the Hirohiko Araki of the Vocaloid world.

[Re: not working on Cinnamon/Miku collab] Why does a tweet about not having done work have so much more influence than tweets about having done work?
Feels like I'll never make a time attack video in my life at this rate, so I'm recording commentary.
In my dream, I was playing a new Bomberman game, but for some reason the first boss was Rathian.
Lately, no matter what interview I'm in, I get told "You sure play a lot of Monster Hunter, huh?" at the start.

RT @Itaiki0825 Amid the many Vocaloid producers with Twitter headers that are pretty scenery, or instruments, or CD covers or illustrations from music videos, OSTER project-san's being a Monster Hunter screenshot is so funny.

Listening to this, it doesn't really sound like a song whining about not wanting to break up, does it????
On the other hand, musicals are where it's okay to make whining about not wanting to break up with a guy you're dating dramatic.
Suddenly remembered how there was this musical I'd never even watched, and the songs were in English so I didn't know what they were about, but it had a song I liked a lot, so I watched it wondering what kind of dramatic scene it's sung during, and it was a song just whining about not wanting to break up with the man she was dating.
