I kinda feel like in my case, more than playing a game well, my forte is just giving amusing commentary with my gameplay, and that makes me sad. (but it's fun)

People who are good at games don't just have the reflexes to control the game precisely, they also have excellent ability to think on the fly and come up with suitable strategies... Ain't their stats as humans way too high?
I wanna get good at games, but all I can do's slowly practice.
Thinking that way, it's all good if you can just make a connection with people through music, huh... I like that kind of festival feeling too, and it reminded me of the mood of early NicoNico. (old-timer talking about the past)
I was saying stuff about how if even one person guessed my song in the Colorless Nameless Fest it'd mean I lost, but I got to surprise a ton of people when the answer was announced, and a handful of people who deeply love my sound actually guessed right, so it honestly was an event where everyone won...
With me working so hard on music and Monster Hunter lately, it's wild how much it feels like the world begins and ends with me.
Despite being busy, I'm super glad I submitted a song for the Colorless Nameless Fest, especially since it motivated me quite a bit.
This month's quite a peak to overcome, but I want to get through it.
I constantly have a big pile of tasks where I'm kinda like "am I really fit for this kind of job?", but in a way, pushing through and taking care of everything I need to do one at a time gives me confidence.
When Miffy opens her mouth, does it look like Gaismagorm, I wonder?
I'm grateful for people calling me "gorgeous!" or "a treasure!" when I appear on broadcasts and such, but just between us, if you just come to a game stream or the like, you can talk to me anytime, y'know?
What with appearing on TV broadcasts and all this year, I'm really exhibiting myself considering how I've been in the past. At this point, it's no exaggeration to call me an exhibitionist.

My personal feeling for the ages is that Yummy-Yummy Girl is around 18, and Scandal Makers is around 28.
I was told "Yummy-Yummy Girl's lyrics sound mature, so it seemed like OSTER-san," but Yummy-Yummy Girl's more of a song about a girl than a woman, y'know?!

Currently, because of the Colorless Nameless Fest, everyone's telling me (I think) "How great that you can make such different songs!", so I'm getting carried away.
People getting carried away might make others around them irritated at times, but I feel like people are at their most mentally healthy when they're getting carried away, so I want to endeavor to get deftly carried away.
I like my songs, but the fact I'm not able to listen to them for the first time is inconvenient, so I'm envious of everyone getting to hear OSTER songs for the first time!
People say I make songs fast, but it's just that if I don't make them fast I'll get too familiar with hearing them and won't be able to tell what's good, so I have to finish them quickly before that happens.

Someone gave an analysis that Vocaloid Collection has had a lot of songs that chase Vocaloid-ness and going viral, while Colorless Nameless Fest had lots of liberated songs conscious of what defines that author's style, and I'm LOLing at how the song I did was the exact opposite.
It feels too good to betray everyone's expecations, so I'm gonna have to expand my styles.
I really like the comment someone left before the authors were revealed of "it's a woman's song." I make woman's songs. Thanks in advance.

Given my occupation, you'd think I'd be better at rhythm games than Monster Hunter, but Monster Hunter is a rhythm game, so hey.

Myself, I welcome people commenting on my song with predictions of who made it, and even go listen to those producers to analyze why they came to that conclusion, but some people might not like you writing that kind of thing, so I think it might make everyone happiest if you toss your predictions at me via Marshmallow.

Just being able to hunt Afflicted monsters is pretty amazing, so you should have confidence.
Just being able to make music is pretty amazing, so everyone should have confidence. I have confidence, too.
I'm removing my Scouter and viewing songs at random.
Though without a view count, I wonder if you'd lose listeners outright, having nothing to grab onto so they aren't sure where to even start... But I also think it's a fact that that "place to grab onto" creates disparity.

- Knowing the view count before you open it
- For some reason being able to specify a thumbnail on submission
- Using loopholes in the rules
As I see it, things like these are somewhat undermining the concept of the Colorless Nameless Fest.
It's true, just being able to see the view count makes for a powerful bias, so if that were hidden too, I think they'd go up more evenly... It's really a very interesting experiment, so it'd be interesting to see it improved upon in the future.
Getting acclaim does to a point mean it's a superb work, but not getting acclaim doesn't mean your work isn't superb. That's just how overflowing with creations this world is.
If you're convinced you don't have skill because your works aren't appreciated, you should stop thinking like that right now.

It's wild how in the Colorless Nameless Fest, there's super-high-quality songs that hardly have any views buried all around, so you can't depend on view count at all. I super understand how Vegeta felt telling Nappa to take off his Scouter.

Myself, I also learn my favorite strings or bass and sometimes sing them at karaoke.
People call copying a song by ear a special skill, but you guys can learn your favorite songs and sing them at karaoke, so you can totally copy by ear.

For Colorless Nameless Fest, I have to not even say anything about whether I've observed anyone who got it right until the answers are revealed, but it's fun.

When it comes to things to do at 5 AM, ain't no option but Malzeno time attacks, right?
Especially in fields like games where your proficiency is quantified in a visible way, it'll kill your motivation comparing yourself against others too much, so I want to put having fun first. So incredibly unsuited for competitive games.
If you compare yourself to others too much and are only like "man, I can't do that," you'll lose motivation, so occasionally spending time to hole up in your narrow world and soak in "I'm great for being able to do this!" is important too. Balancing retreating into your world with learning about the world around you is key. I'm serious.
In both games and music, essentially, it gets boring the moment things reach saturation. It's all about how many new things you can discover while keeping it up.
Ultimately, that's room to grow, so there's also the joy of having found room to grow.
Don't you feel super vexed when you're like "I could've never come up with this myself"????
Doing music, maybe the most vexing and most enjoyable moments are when I encounter something I hadn't even imagined.
I'm bad at living, but I'm at least good at making music.
Just living is a passing grade.
