Isn't hell great?!

I love hell, so I'm glad. (?)

Watched a movie I was recommended, and it was incredibly hell.

21st-century technology surpassing the 22nd-century technology imagined 50 years ago is amazing.

No limit to the things I want to do.
Yes limit to my stamina and time.

I was determined to do a bunch of stuff today, but I'm lying in bed from yesterday's damage.

Even if my own existence were just a program that's part of that simulation, I wouldn't feel any fear or shock that my existence is fake, and in fact might even feel some relief.

[After linking a video about black holes] Even if this world were a simulation by some higher existence than humans, it's fun to verify the intricately-designed rules of that simulated world, so I wouldn't care one bit.

I have way too much of a fear of being bad at games.

Had a sad dream where I was sucking so bad at games I swore I'd never play again.

Maybe it's a small thing, but getting to feel that other people care about me makes me think how there are people who'd be sad if I were gone, making me be like "Guess I'll work a little harder!", so it helps a lot.

It's still my birthday until I've replied back to everyone.

It was a super good hotel and I ate lots of super delicious meals, so I've gotta work hard to balance out so many good memories.

My two-day birthday tour was a wild time of riding and eating and riding and riding and eating and eating and riding and riding and riding and eating... Let's get back to work tomorrow!

Birthdays feel sorta like when Mario grabs a star.

For the first time in 420 months of living, I've encountered a machine that serves up matsutake rice with the press of a button... Give me one of these at home...

It's not just Mars and Venus, you can see Saturn and Jupiter from Earth too. Seeing them really makes you aware of how they're actually there, and even if they're ridiculously far away, if you flew straight toward them you'd make it eventually... How amazing.

The view of the stars from the open-air rooftop bath was the best... But I couldn't help but wonder whether that noticeably brighter star was Mars or Venus or some other planet or a fixed star.

Getting in a bath and dying of exhaustion.

Now I can't think about anything today but the steak I wasn't able to eat...

The steak place I've wanted to go to for years and even checked the closed-days for was closed, and my energy just died.

Wanna learn all sorts of stuff while I'm alive.

People talk about how they can't die until they see the end of their favorite media, but if that's happens to be the truth of the universe or anything, you'll be far too short on lifespan for that.

I don't think I'll get to see that while I'm alive to start with, but I at least want to see results from the Europa probe before I die...

Personally, my theory is that aliens exist but we haven't encountered them because faster-than-light travel is physically impossible, but once you start believing in FTL's-physically-impossible-ism, it means that humanity will eternally operate at the scale of human lifespans and any hope of encountering life on exoplanets dies, which makes me clutch my head.

My latest interests are the Fermi paradox and the Great Filter...

Could there be some kind of term like "spaghetti limit" for the point at which a celestial body having any more mass would cause it to spaghettify things?

In truth, a white dwarf is billions of times more tightly packed than Toppo [type of candy, a "reverse Pocky"].

We're tiny, but space is huge. Space is amazin', huh? To space, even the speed of light is stupid-slow, about the same as standing still... Man, space totally owns.

The two great contrasting forces of "I think people shouldn't be deemed superior or inferior" and "I fear I might be inferior" have been in civil war in my head for decades; the struggle continues to this day.

I'm way too much of a sore loser, but I've never known any other way to grow all my life.

I want to be suited for anything so I can handle it no matter what I end up liking. Thinking about how adaptable, skillful people are more or less like that makes me weirdly worried, feeling envious and wondering if I'm inferior, but every time I'm like "I'm pretty amusin' for a puny human."

It can be painful when what you like and what you're suited for are different.

I announced this at the end of the stream, but I'm doing a birthday concert (???) during the day on the 23rd, so come watch if you like. :birthday cake:

I've learned from running Valstrax the other day that the last month wasn't a waste or anything, so I'm gonna keep getting better.

There's no use moping over it forever, so tomorrow I'll find another objective and do my best.

Even if it seems pointless to someone else, if you find something that's important to you, you should treat it as important.

Got a headache and I'm not sure if it's from drinking or crying a ton.

I looked back at the archive, but I didn't even make any really bad movements, so maybe it's Apex Zinogre's fault.

As much as I want to blame someone else, all that comes to mind is my own face.

I cried a lifetime's worth of regretful tears. Please let me have my revenge next time.

I guess it's my fault for not being able to simply focus on the game, though...

Truthfully, there was something extremely distracting that happened during the stream, and I don't want to blame it on that, but I really hate to have the feeling of "if it weren't for that."

I'm not satisfied, so starting tomorrow I might just start running Apex Zinogre with high-rank equipment...

I wish there'd have at least been a mistake I could point to as the reason for my time...

It's amazin' at this age to have something I can put my all into and feel regretful enough to cry about it.

I really should've been able to do a better run, so it's too sad that I couldn't show that... I worked a whole month for it, even.

Working backwards, the game I'm most glad I bought was probably Monster Hunter 2G.

The loss of not experiencing something that those around you experienced can cast a shadow on your life... Ultimately, subtle things like that can lead to loneliness or salvation. Even if it's "just a game," it's really not "just" a game.

For being raised by parents who weren't gamers, I feel like I got to play a ton of N64 games, but I consider not being able to play Pokemon a great loss in my life... Even if I could start playing now, there's no way of getting the experience of playing it then...

Still no telling what'll happen, y'know... If all the other competitors get Anjanath and Rajang attacking them at the same time, I could win it all...

I've been super annoying about space lately, yet I didn't know today was a lunar eclipse.

I wanted to run Apex Zinogre at Kohaku.

I was rejected for Kohaku once again this year. I'll do my best next year.

The more you develop your run, the more elements you need to think about at once, and it gets too much for me to keep up.

People have said "the attack patterns in Monster Hunter are fixed, so you don't need reflexes all that much, right?", but I don't think that's true at all... Though sure, it isn't as demanding of your reflexes compared to something like Smash Bros.

I'm an emotionally-unstable adult, so I might cry again when Tarotaro Cup ends.

I dunno if tomorrow will be cause for celebration or self-reflection, so I'll prepare some delicious meat and wine... Come watch, y'hear...!

I practice a ton for Tarotaro Cup every time, so when it's over I feel like "I won't be running that monster for a while...", but once I go watch the other runners' attempts I have realizations of "Wait, I should've done that!!" and want to try them out, so I end up trying for a while after anyway.

This game's so hard I'm gonna cry.

If you double your drawing speed, the art has four times the energy. It's obvious if you look at the formula for kinetic energy.

I'm satisfied to have drawn a proper manga-like manga.

For real, just drawing this took 4 hours, so people who do manga are too amazing.

I learned how delicious draft beer becomes after getting a huge workout on a cold day.

Today, I'm drawing a comic about the Forest Friends.

I remember now, there was something in a Fujiko Fujio collection about freely-moving molecules "by chance" all moving in the same direction, resulting in something like telekinesis that can move objects.

Is there really somethin' like that?

Had a dream where I was like "Physical phenomena sometimes have a slight "loss," and that loss piles up on the quantum level like additional time, which can then produce an unknown kinetic energy! This is the truth behind telekinesis!" while holding my hands above my head and rolling an empty can uphill.

After making a CD and going to M3 and finishing the Alcohol Song video and coming back from a trip I'd been looking forward to, I feel a bit burnt out, but the Tarotaro Cup's this weekend and there's a video I've gotta make and I have drinking plans, so this's no time to burn out...!

Apex Zinogre attacks me in my mind even when I'm not running...

I owe it to Monster Hunter Rise for being able to think that way, and the Tarotaro Cup... The fastest players may be leagues above me, but I want to strive to do the best run I can once again...

In grade school, I was a bit better at games than those around me, so I saw that as my identity, but in the online era I was introduced to so many others to compare myself to and found that wasn't true at all, so I sort of drifted away from games. But now I want to devotedly improve my skills even if I suck.

This Tarotaro Cup is probably going to be my fiercest battle yet, but I'll keep practicing to give my best.

If I can't make it crystal clear what my faults are, I feel like I'll never improve...

I hear people say they've got nothing to do in Monster Hunter, but so long as I'm unable to conduct myself the way I want, there's nothing but things to do.

Feels like the state of corona and my mental state are super linked, so I hope peaceful days can continue.

In the first half of the year, I was extremely unenergetic and couldn't sleep at night and even couldn't eat very well sometimes, but lately I'm sleeping super soundly, which is a relief.

I'm a Japan master having lived in Japan for as long as I've lived, but I just can't get used to big earthquakes, they're real scary.

The impostor sure has been making Cubase crash a lot.

It's sad how the latest DAWs can't read the rhythm track from back when I made Meteor Drive, so I'll never be able to make a long version or anything with that same sound.

Listened to this song called Meteor Drive for the first time in a while and it was super good.

I think I've more or less overcome it since I was able to put a two-measure silence break in Azrue Blue, for instance, but...

If black holes aren't holes in space but rather celestial bodies, isn't the name "hole" kinda weird? Shouldn't it be something like Dark Damn-Heavy Star?

If I'm reborn as a god in my next life, I'll have fun making black hole onigiri with neutron stars.

I see, is its volume zero, then...? What does "zero volume" mean...? The limits on humans imagining the concept of infinity are making my brain go haywire.

If you squeezed a neutron star tight like onigiri, would it become a black hole? Don't you want to test?
