Birthdays feel sorta like when Mario grabs a star.
For the first time in 420 months of living, I've encountered a machine that serves up matsutake rice with the press of a button... Give me one of these at home...
It's not just Mars and Venus, you can see Saturn and Jupiter from Earth too. Seeing them really makes you aware of how they're actually there, and even if they're ridiculously far away, if you flew straight toward them you'd make it eventually... How amazing.
The view of the stars from the open-air rooftop bath was the best... But I couldn't help but wonder whether that noticeably brighter star was Mars or Venus or some other planet or a fixed star.
Getting in a bath and dying of exhaustion.
Now I can't think about anything today but the steak I wasn't able to eat...
The steak place I've wanted to go to for years and even checked the closed-days for was closed, and my energy just died.
