This is a wanted poster.

Scary...

The new [Smash Bros.] fighter is me. (spoilers)

New theories of black holes have erased the concept of the event horizon, which has added some transience to the title.

Amazing how I came up with the bizarre title of Candy Jar Event Horizon.

All I want for Christmas is boob :baby bottle:

Let it go (didn't say I would let it go)

I'm remembering this time when, the moment a friend who came to visit from another prefecture found out they couldn't leave because heavy snow had stopped the buses, a song from Frozen started playing with perfect timing, and laughing about it. (it was no laughing matter)

Come to think of it, I'm aware of the issue with Piano Girl having disappeared on NicoNico, but I didn't upload that one, so I can't do anything... Maybe I should ask about it...

So many happy things have happened lately, I'm living life with the face in my icon. [still ^u^-face Roset]

Internet died, so I guess I'll go to bed...

I can only make wild songs.

What the, this song's wild.

Finally got the engine going... Such a slow starter.

The part at the end of Awatenbou Santa Claus that goes like

feels like you're at the final boss and it's reviving all the bosses you beat to attack you, which I really love.

The innards of moving Roset-chan. (animation controlled by trig functions, no warmth at all)

Having her move really does make her so cute and give me energy...

Patient who has to post progress or she'll die.

She's... alive...

There still isn't anybody who's made Vocaloid songs that are more my thing than Tokage-san...

I like music, see.

People good at making songs make such good songs.

[Retweeting this article featuring her and other Vocaloid producers listing songs important to them and why] The result of me going full otaku mode like a moron.

People who can draw are messed up in the head. (compliment)

People good at art tell me that faces aren't made symmetrical so it's better if they're not perfectly even, but achieving the balance of being uneven but still cute at all is stupidly difficult so?????

When drawing eyes head-on, rather than trying super hard to balance both eyes, just drawing one and flipping it horizontally looks a lot better, so I'm despairing.

Bizarre situation of having Cubase open next to Clip Studio.

["What would Roset-chan think if she saw that tweet?"]

I'm not bad at art. It's my artstyle. (encouragement)

"Kaba" in English being "hippopotamus" feels like it has to be a joke. I get the "hippo" part, but what kinda clown brings in another "po" after that, huh? And then what comes after this bizarre "hippopo" business? Tamus? It's such severe whiplash I can't keep up. Hippopotamus. I keep saying it again and again.

[From Spotify year-end summary] 71 people listened to OSTER project the most.
Thanks for your support again this year! #2020ArtistWrapped

Maybe deep down I have a mentality of trying to justify the outcome of my efforts.

The songs I make myself are packed with things I like, so it's natural that I'd like them, and doesn't the fact you made it yourself add like a 1.2x multiplier to the goodness??
Though that multiplier gets in the way of objectivity and can make improving the quality of your work troublesome.

People sometimes ask what music I usually listen to. Well, the artist I listen to most is OSTER project...

[Jun: "I want to do better at pervy yuri... Can I get better if I go to pervy yuri classes?"]
Pervy yuri classes.

I have a habit of having fun just playing synths because they sound so good.

When you acquire a good synth, you tend to use that instrument in arrangements. (just DTM things)

Digital music is a stupidly expensive hobby. (job)

If you want to make songs like mine, you can achieve the same sort of sound if you have Spitfire Chamber Strings, Broadway Big Band, Keyscape, Modo Bass, and Drum Tree... (also, money)

My synth recommendations depend on what kind of songs you want to make...

RT @shio_saru_ I started composing with Domino, and I'd really appreciate if you could recommend some additional synths to purchase. :bowing man:
It would be far too malicious to say Spitfire Chamber Strings right out of the gate, so maybe starting with something like Komplete would give you a good variety of sounds...

The fact I made this with a mouse is pretty nuts.
[Cute Big Band Jazz] Cat and Balloons feat. Miku Hatsune - OSTER project

Even if you can't play an instrument, if you can move a mouse, you can make music.

Just the fact I make big band using only a mouse is seriously amazing, wow, I'm so strong.

My own arrangements are way too good...

I have a rich imagination, so I'm imagining a future where I become an old lady and go to a nursing home, and a helper goes "Let's all sing some nostalgic Vocaloid songs together!" and starts singing Miracle Paint, and even though I keep saying "I made this song," no one believes me thinking I'm just an old granny joking around again, so now I'm crying.

People who compose as their job are so mentally powerful.

Maybe it's just ordinary to be uneasy because you have a responsibility, though.

I'm like this even after all the songs I've made, so I might just be like this for the rest of my life.

I'm always really gloomy before I can start making the song... It's painful being so uncertain if it's going to turn out well...

There might also be people who don't think anything about themselves. Probably, yes. There's all kinds. Might even be people who aren't people.

Though there are probably also people who only hate themselves or only like themselves.

Humans are creatures who have the feelings of really liking themselves and really hating themselves coexisting, aren't they?

Not this week, this month... (if I did it every week I'd die)

I wonder what would be good for this week's chord sheet...

What it looks like when I make a song from scratch.
[Real-Time Composition Stream] Suki! Yuki! Maji-Magic All-Out Arrangement [#TesrosetTransmission]

Also, if people want to know how to make music, watch my streams! I make songs from scratch! It's true!

People who make music with just a DAW are too amazing.

People occasionally ask me to teach them how to make music, but if you have me teach you, I'll make you download Domino immediately.

The second Roset-chan sings, she ceases to be Roset-chan... Who the hell're you...?

Rather than just sort of drawing it half-heartedly, there's more opportunity for unskilled people to improve if they actually look at the thing before drawing it. (so I'm telling my unskilled self)

Every time I draw a comic, I start by looking up "How do I draw a ___??"

In a "technical capabilities in art" sense.

I like looking at and drawing meetup-report comics, but there's so little I can draw that I'm having difficulties.

Lust Christmas

Feels like there'd be a horror movie with the title Mixolydian Scale.

The emotion of liking something is madness in its most beautiful form.

The thought that I've been doing this work fiddling with Miku-san for 13 years also makes me feel kind of nuts.

It's a strange feeling to think that your perspective of what Vocaloid is differs a ton based on generation... How must it feel for Vocaloid songs to just be things that already naturally exist in the world...? I'll never get to experience that feeling my entire life.

Somebody invent a way to make music and tune Vocaloid and draw art and listen to music at the same time.

If there are "My First ___" playlists, they should also make "___ to Listen To Just Before You Die" playlists.

I used to only know the whole-tone scale as like, when it was used in a sound effect way for magic being cast, so I never would've thought it was a scale so closely linked to such fancy chords.

This is just me sort of putting together stuff I've noticed making music, so I don't really know the theory stuff, so please take the responsibility upon yourself when looking at it. (crappy music class)

On chord families on whole-tone scales, and applications of 7-5 and slash chords. #RosetChansCrappyMusicClass #TesrosetArt

[Whole-Tone Scales (Roset: "A magical sound!!")
Scales of equal note distances, all one apart. Have an unstable floatiness <3
There's only two kinds: starting with C, and starting with C#.
(Upper scale, starting at C:) C D E F# G# A# C (+2 between each)
(Lower scale, staritng at C#:) C# D# F G A B (easy to understand on a piano roll!!)]

[aug (augment): Caug (C E G#)
Slash chord (black adder): CaugD (D C E G#)
Roset (out of character): "Both of these're built from notes on the whole-tone scale, arf!]

[Seventh Flat Five (7-5): D7-5 (D F# G# C)
This is also built on the whole-tone scale. Roset: "WAON! (dog)" [play on "wan," woof, and "waon," chord]
Using 7-5 Instead of a Slash Chord?!
(Showing C, D, and G# in common between Caug/D and D7-5) The component notes are similar!
Both are chords on the whole-tone scale, so they have similar nuance.

If the nail that sticks out gets hammered in, stick out more.

When the instrumental's too good, it's no time to be singing over it, so I sing the melody of the strings or horns instead of the melody of the vocals, which feels really good to do.

The time I went to karaoke and, when the progression in the instrumental got to a really good part, I'd give up singing and start explaining instead, was really fun, so I wanna do that again.

Roset-chan, the dog attuned to sound.

I want everyone to make songs using minor major sevenths.

Lately I've been so into minor major sevenths that the instant one shows up, I shout "Minor major seventh!" Like a kid at the zoo shouting the name of her favorite animal when she sees one.

I'm always thinking I wanna make sexy and cute fusion, but when you have that kind of melody, it ends up being a song with vocals...

When a lot of aug-type chords show up, it's so sexy and cute...

Am I really seeing "floppy disk" in the trends in this era of Reiwa?

People's feelings are super complicated, so they're not things you can observe and easily decide things about, and shouldn't be called strange or denied - I can think that way now.

I was just born, so the world is full of things I don't get.

For a long time, I didn't know there were people who could be told "I like you" by someone they like and have no feelings other than "thank you," so I was like "human feelings are really amazing" and went and made it...

Reaching your aspiration isn't the goal, it's the start of a new dream.

I've never felt more glad to be doing music... Grateful as hell... sniff...

But I feel like painful things such as that caused me to make Labradorite, and allowed me to encounter people who've experienced similar pains, so it makes me feel like everything's paid off...

I know the difficulties and pains that can stand in the way of continued creation painfully well... So Labradorite was packed with those feelings... So a person who's overcome similar obstacles and continued creating doing Labradorite stabs me in the heart so hard my tear glands glitch...

No matter how many times I watch or how I look at it, 'course I'm gonna cry at this... Ain't nobody who wouldn't cry having them done to them...
[Sing and Draw] Labradorite feat. Bayachao

Thank you for loving meeeee!! :bomb: :explosion:

I've been loved...

There's nothing more blessed than something I do because I like to do it being part of someone else's happiness.

It ended up being an illustration of Tesro-sama looking at Roset-chan's panties and blushing...

The balloons are here!! I'll keep doing my best at a lot of stuff, so regards!!! #TesrosetArt

[OSTER project] Labradorite feat. Yu Tokiwa [Music Video]
Song that'll be special to me my whole life.

When the world is overflowing with so much music, the fact there are people who encounter and like my music and live being supported by it... I had no idea how much that would affirm and support me.

When I made Labradorite, I wrote the lyrics out of the feelings of being found by someone who was the object of my aspiration, but actually becoming someone others aspire to, I realize that feeling of "you found me" is the same for the person being aspired to.

I'm as emotional as the final episode of a 2-cour anime playing the opening theme from the first cour...

Lately it's been so novel just directly tackling feelings I've never experienced before in my life. Maybe I'm just a newborn baby...

My birthday's reached the climax before it's even started.

RT @BAYACHAO I learned of OSTER-san through Miracle Paint, and even my poster characters Pain and Ting came from there, and I've kept doing art while chasing after OSTER-san and being supported by many of her songs. Especially when I was going to a private art school to prepare for university, I would often hate my art or feel unsure, and even saw heartless words that wounded me.

I remember listening to Labradorite to encourage myself while walking home, and I kept walking, and then OSTER-san followed me on Twitter, and found me. The fact she wrote the theme song for the project I've been working on forever and now gets along with me as a person makes me go like, isn't this too much of a dream?

The way music can keep having meaning added to it like this might mean it's never truly finished. How amazing.

Labradorite was a song sung by a person I'd long looked up to, so a person who'd long looked up to me singing it makes me so unimaginably emotional I feel like I'm gonna die...

Was it all foreshadowing...?

I've been told "Labradorite is OSTER-san's character song," but I want it to be the character song of all people chasing dreams.

I've become far too familiar with the destructive power of Labradorite.

The number one OSTER-project-obsessed woman is being made to cry like heck for her birthday...

[Bayachao posts [Sing and Draw] Labradorite feat. Bayachao]

I don't wanna put on weight, but I wanna eat food.

I don't wanna age, but I wanna be celebrated...

Perhaps the biggest difference between art and music is one existing on the axis of time.

You can't win just spamming super moves.

I think making music might be like a fighting game. In that just learning individual chords doesn't do much for you, and you have to learn how to link them together to make combos, and know what combos to use to create a flow that's appropriate for that point in the battle. Not that I'd know since I've never played any fighting games, but...

What are the rules of what a friend is?!

The rules of what a friend is are such a challenging game...

Is "feminist" [as the word is used in Japanese, which is... a bit different] only for men who treat women with care...? Then what do you call a woman who treats women with care...
