Whenever I feel like I'm kinda bad at music, of course it can be due to a lack of skill, but a lot of the time it's just a point in time where I lack the sense or energy to listen to music in general and be like "this is good," so I try not to let it get me too down.
Week of feeling like I'm bad at making music but encouraging myself saying I'm great for trying hard.
Saying you don't like it that people say they're bad when they're so good is kinda barking up the wrong tree, because you're seeing the world entirely differently...
When someone super good at art or games or something says they're bad, it doesn't mean they want to be told "that's not true," it means they see a world with plenty of room for them to become even better.
You think "Have I become an expert?", but there's an endless road ahead of you.
A diagram.
["- Gamers As I Imagined It
~30% beginners, ~40% intermediates, ~30% experts
- Gamers Actually
~10% beginners, ~8% intermediates, ~82% experts (with "gods" and "abnormals" sub-labels near the top)"]
My own parry videos are so satisfying I keep watching them over and over.
It's like my primary activity this year has been debugging for Google Translate.
[Re: "insects are too good"] This tweet reaching the insect community makes me really happy for some reason.
I used to go to Torikizoku [a restaurant, literally "Bird Noble"] because I wanted to be a noble, but now I want to be a bird.
Ass-Parry
Don't go making it into S&M all of a sudden.
If you had a flea's level of capability you wouldn't make Yukkuri game explanation videos, is your vector for capability out of whack????
It's really no good how I have a full helping of daydreams yet the capability of a flea to act on them, so I wanna do something about it... I want someone to kick my butt into gear.
Had a outrageous daydream about creation while in the bath.
Studying English again today.
[Supposed to mean "too good to be true"]
That's true.
RT @usarui1990 I thought OSTER-san made a Kirby-looking character for a joke, but she's actually doing it for real, which is amazing.
Fave... You're cute as ever, fave... Always be there smiling healthily, fave...
[Re: Cocoa truck song tweet] I actually went viral with music for once. (?)
I'm definitely gonna play Sekiro...
Please recommend me parrying games.
I hear Elden Ring's parries are severe compared to other From games, so I wonder what it's like there... I wanna play the others too...
In any game, as you play it more deeply, improvements go from an additive form to a subtractive one, which is rough, but that also means the pleasure when you manage to do it rises dramatically as well, so I can't stop...
Elemer's shield bash animation is fast so it's hard to dodge roll, but a medium shield can block it without letting any damage through, so it's safe and reliable.
Truly the pleasure of going damageless is unparalleled.
Beat him with an unbuffed weapon, parry-only, damageless for the first time... :crying:
Thank you, Professor Elemer... Video another day. #EldenRing #ParryInTheForgottenLands
Woke up immediately before going drinking again today...
