I started with Samurai on a whim in my first file, so I started my new one as Samurai too, but found myself wanting a buckler after all and headed for Gostoc to buy one, but I couldn't beat Margit and got stuck. (because I also want to beat Margit with parries)
I was able to do the first half damageless a few times, but the second half is just no good, the tail moves too fast...
Crucible-sensei leaves so few openings that if you don't heal immediately after taking a hit you'll get hunted down, so even taunting them is a major risk.
A video of me doing my best at a bizarre restriction of having to do a taunt every time I parry. #ParryInTheForgottenLands
Could it be
that this month
I'm super busy?
Guy who hasn't even finished their first run yet makes a new file to parry with starting stats.
[Re: post about Elden Ring's clear percentage being at 20%] Everyone else must be playing carefully to perfectly parry everything too... (??)
Tomorrow afternoon:
Deifnitely making naan.
I have lots to do today, yet I played Elden Ring. (death)
It's sudden, but I'm uploading a video at 1 PM today. It's a new song.
Sorry it's not a parry video. Thanks in advance.
- Me
I feel like I'm close to doing Crucible with starting stats but I can't do it... The tail's tricky.
Crucible Knight's harder to parry than it looks.
Godly game. #ParryInTheForgottenLands
It seemed like I could've beaten Tree Sentinel with initial stats, but I took too many hits to be satisfied, so I died.
What kind of clown said it'd probably be easier to parry Tree Sentinel??? It's me.
It's stupid-hard, but I learned the method... I learned the method...
I understand Tree Sentinel completely. #ParryInTheForgottenLands
I've learned that when parrying Tree Sentinel, you have to do it from a close range.
The way iai slashes work is that it activates as long as you press the attack input during the timing window, and I thought Elden Ring's parries were a similar deal, but it seems they might be totally different... (even if you get the right timing, you can fail a bunch depending on your position)
Are people who beat Tree Sentinel with parries messed up in the head????
I've come to get a feel for parrying, so I challenged Tree Sentinel thinking it'd be easy, and I now I'm like, I can't parry this at all??????
Though you can't deathblow Tree Sentinel, I feel it might actually be simpler to just stop it with parries rather than time your rolls to avoid the the close combo attacks.
[Re: a clip from when she first started Elden Ring] I wasn't parryin' one bit two months ago...
Sure enough, it's Sekiro, huh...
Which one has the best-feeling parrying? [Poll]
- Elden Ring [22.8%]
- Sekiro [40.6%]
- Bloodborne [19.1%]
- Dark Souls [17.4%]
That's right.
RT @FLAROUS OSTER's composing using Elden Ring, I see.
I've never seen someone saying "choose a job" who goes and compensates for the loss that results from choosing a job.
It's bad manners to tell creators "choose a job." Let's instead say "I'll send you 100 million yen each month, so only do jobs that make me happy."
