Learned how to do some moves I didn't know about for the Masked Hammer Treasure and now I wanna run it again.

This feels so much like a suddenly-appearing punchline.

[Edited from "Kirby of the Stars" (name for the Kirby series in Japanese) to "Parry of the Shield"]

Still haven't managed to do Alecto damageless, but I felt like I'd get too obsessed, so I went and beat him.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land is a dark game that endlessly demands speedruns of you. (it doesn't really demand it)

Tilt-and-Roll Kirby is an evil game, it's nuts.

I worked so hard for this and all I get is 20 coins, what the heck... I'm doing it for honor.

In localized parts, Kirby is harder than Elden Ring.

[Screenshot of beating the Masked Hammer Treasure target time] I did it!!! I did it!!!!!

I'm making a song in secret that should make everybody happy.

As far as Elden Ring, I think it's amazing how it accomodates different kinds of game-likers. You can power-level and play it like "I'm the strongest!", or you can fight opponents underleveled and aim to overpower them with your movement, so everyone can feel good taking whatever approach they desire. And so I walk the path of carnage...

Liking games isn't just about being fond of a wide variety of games, and you could probably say the same in other fields too... After all, I like music, but don't know a lot about it...

Also, I'm fairly aware of how unique my idiosyncracies with games are, which painfully reinforces the feeling that I might not be able to enjoy playing games with others. (but I enjoy playing alone)

I often think about this talking to friends, and it's pretty obvious, but the way you enjoy games can vary so much between people it's wild. "Game-liker" is on the same level of absurdly broad as "animation-liker" or "comic-liker."

All I think about with enemies is how many attacks I can get in.

I progress so meticulously, I'll never finish Elden Ring as long as I live.

[Re: "From-game players when their movement wasn't to their satisfaction" video] I was just thinking while watching this back, couldn't I just walk normally to avoid the grab attack and do a backstab?
