Kato from K Village doing farmwork without a rear-car, the man who cheated someone out of rubies and went to France, the plump brassiere with marks of love, the too-cruel loan... I remember them all lovingly.
[First one is a mnemonic for flame reaction colors, the full thing being "The rear-car-less Kato from K Village uses horses for power." Liakaa (aka = red) Naki (kiiro = yellow) K-mura (murasaki = purple) no Cato (to = orange), douryoCu (ryoku = green) Bariki (or ryoku, so green again) de Surubee (beni = crimson).
Second is for the alkali metals. H de Licchi Na Kare ga Rubii o Ceshimete France e.
Third is for the halogens. FucCula Brajaa, ai (I) no Ato.
The loan one has more to it, and is too long and complex to go through, but it's for the reactivity series of metals.]
I forget why I needed to remember the pnictogens on the periodic table, but the fact I remembered it as "NipPon no Asa wa Subuta to Biiru" is etched deep in my memory.
