I Smell Spring Deep In My Nose (from Kenshi Yonezu's blog)

I smell spring deep in my nose.
A blue light rises to soak the dryness of winter. Spring grows small and escapes out the body.
The morning sun doesn't rise. The washing droops. The sound of stepping on a railroad tie.
I smell spring deep in my nose.

Quality cooking, movies, and music all have a similar power in them.
Little fireworks go popping off, piercing the skin, shaking the insides.
I smell spring deep in my nose.
People wait for spring.
